Ride Away to Glory...
Riding a bike in Chennai is quite an experience. As your bike travels over the cross-country like terrain you keep getting a "tot-a-tot-a-tot" feeling similar to riding a horse.
Inbetween the cool evening weather and the tottering, I felt like pouring out my emotions in the form of a song. So i took a deep breath, and starting singing away to glory, with just my heart for company. Just as i was going "Oooooooooohhhhh.....Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh...Lalalaaaa...." ala a soprano, there was this "eeeeeeeeeeennnggggg" and a feeling that something bumped into my upper palate!
Yuck!! What else could i do except rue over my rotten luck and try to force-blow the MOSQUITO out from my mouth! Thank heavens that I didn't close my mouth or try finding out what had landed, with the help of my taste buds! :(...When will India's civic amenities ever improve?!

next time you go under some train bridge., i'd suggest you stop if there is a train on the bridge., and wait till it passes by... hmm., you can never be sure what water is dripping.. :-S

you should have just eaten it... I'm pretty sure that mosquitoes are considered a delicacy in some vague part of the world ;)

poor lil' mosquito....may his soul rest in peace.

oh no..
but in any case... i read that an average human eats at least 1 spider in his lifetime.
those daddy longlegs, just sometimes enter your mouth when you are asleep, and well, you probably would have just chewed it in..
So i mean.. be glad that you got that mosquito out, or else you would have eaten one spider, and one mosquito.

" i was on my way
on a holiday,
suddenly was in for a shock,
ahead was a block,
there was a cave in mid air,
god sometimes never seems fair...
it was dark, wet n noisy in
there,
n then suddenly a force from
no where,
i got spurtted out in terror
n got back home to have a shower,
n ya, ther went my holiday,
but to god i pray,
never to bring such caves my
way..."
